◎The processed material can be transported to the next stage (such as a dryer) in a sealed state. The separation of hazardous materials can be performed fully automatically. ■The cake (crystals) scraped by the scraping device is collected in an annular groove (depression) provided at the bottom of the basket, and is sucked out and discharged through a pipe inserted into the groove, being transported directly to a container or dryer. ■The discharge pipe for the cake is a straight pipe, with its opening facing the bottom of the basket. Therefore, mist and other substances from the feed liquid do not enter the pipe, making cleaning easy, allowing for the collection of clean crystals without contamination of the product. ■If the amount of cake scraped by the scraping device exceeds the amount discharged through the suction pipe, the pipe opening will become buried in the crystals. However, in this machine, even in such cases, when the basket rotates, the crystals are pushed aside by the pipe, creating a void behind the pipe where there are no crystals. This void continuously supplies an appropriate amount of air to the suction pipe, allowing for smooth suction of the crystals collected in the groove without blockage.

[Case Study] We want to increase the processing capacity per unit in the construction of a new building.

We proposed the MARKβ, a top-driven bottom-discharge centrifuge, to Company M, a manufacturer of chemical raw materials, which boasts the largest processing capacity in our company.

As a result of using our centrifuge, we have received feedback that both production efficiency and output have increased. Typically, the maximum processing capacity for the MARK 3 (top image) at the maximum size of 60-40 inches is 940 liters. However, after consultation between our technical department and the customer, we designed it to increase the capacity to 1027 liters. Additionally, to shorten processing time, we proposed a large scraping blade called the "1-Motion Scraper" that performs only the rotation motion, instead of the usual 2-motion (up and down, rotation) scraping device, along with a "Scraping Air Blow" that uses high-pressure air to dislodge the crystals. **Features** - **Special Basket Design**: By designing a special basket size different from existing sizes, we increased the processing capacity. - **1-Motion Scraper**: Instead of the usual two motions of rotation and elevation, we equipped a large scraper that matches the height of the basket, allowing for crystal scraping with just one rotational motion, thus achieving a reduction in scraping time. - **Scraping Air Blow**: By injecting air from the scraping device, we promote the dislodging of crystals with air pressure in addition to the usual scraping effect, further reducing scraping time.

No need to replace filter cloth! ~Centrifuge that protects operators with an electron beam screen~

We received an inquiry from our customer, Company S, which produces herbicides and pesticides, stating, "Due to handling toxic products, we wear protective gear such as gas masks and gloves when replacing or cleaning filter cloths, but the situation poses a high risk to the on-site operators. The characteristics of the product cause the filter cloth to clog easily, necessitating regular replacements, and we want to improve the exposure of operators to these toxic products." In response, we proposed an electron beam screen (metal filter) that eliminates the need for filter cloth replacement, and they adopted it. As a result of using our machine with the electron beam screen specification, the need for filter cloth replacement was eliminated, reducing the risk of poisoning for operators, as well as cutting down on the labor costs associated with filter cloth replacement and cleaning, and eliminating the running costs of the filter cloths.

■In light of the production increase plan, we would like to increase the filtration and separation processing capacity per unit. We have received a request to increase the processing capacity per unit with the construction of a new building, and we proposed our top-performing upper drive bottom discharge centrifugal separator, the "MARKIII." Typically, with the maximum size of our product at 60×40 inches, the maximum processing capacity is 940L. However, after discussions between our technical department and the customer, we designed it to increase the capacity to 1027L.
